The Root Solution
- Created a functional specification, guiding Gilsan Sports through every part of their website-to-be.
- Created mood boards to identify their corporate brand. This included logos, website design templates newsletter templates.
- Created a temporary website holding page, optimised for search engines prior to launch.
- Designed and implemented a Ruby on Rails application to manage and model the database throughout development.
- Built a complete eCommerce website. This included a full-featured admin section enabling Gilsan Sports to manage site content, products, orders (via Google Checkout) and shipping.
- Worked with Gilsan Sports to optimise the products in the store prior to launch.
- Provided website hosting, remote backup and ongoing care.
